About Esperanza Elementary

Located in the heart of the historic Westlake neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles, Esperanza Elementary School serves more than 600 students from TK to fifth grade. Our dedicated faculty and staff are known for their dedication and teamwork; together, we accomplish great things. The school is alive with a variety of programs and partnerships, making it a place students want to be. 

Community partners are important to Esperanza. The Colburn School of Music, Read to a Child, Reading to Kids, and Nature Nexus Institute are making a difference in the lives of children on this campus.

Esperanza truly sees parents as partners. The Parent Center is a busy place where parents and guardians receive workshops on academic initiatives and community resources. Our parent volunteers find unique ways to support school activities throughout the year.
