A Message From Our Principal

Dear Esperanza Families,

Across the campus we are preparing for the first day of school on Thursday, August 14, 2025. We will be doing some serious celebrating, because student achievement at Esperanza continues to improve.

And of course the teachers and school staff will welcome new students and families to the Esperanza family. Students, parents and guardians will tell you that at Esperanza, we really are a school community built on trust and a shared vision for our students and families. 

Instructional hours remain the same: 7:51 a.m. to 2:19 p.m. Every Tuesday school ends at 1:19 p.m. Parents who are interested in Beyond the Bell programs--Ready Set Go! before school and LA's BEST and Youth Services after school--may apply now in the Main Office. Those programs begin on the first day of school. 

And it's not too early to plan for our amazing Back To School Event! This year it will take place Thursday, August 28 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. It will be great to have all families on campus to see the great things happening in classrooms.
